Peter Robertson Moves Back To Tasmania
On behalf of the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association Board and our members, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter Robertson for his significant contribution to the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association.
Peter has recently had some health issues and has decided to return to Tasmania to continue his treatment and recuperation. The entire Southern Peninsula Basketball Association is behind you Pete and wish you well.
Most people know Peter as ‘Robbo.’ He has been with the Association since 2014 in which time he has taken on a number of roles including Junior Representative Coach and Board of Management Member.
Robbo has played an integral part of the U12 Program and more recently, the Future Sharks Program. Many of our up and coming junior stars, have come through the guidance and coaching of Robbo.
Robbo had an amazing 2019 season with his u12 boys who were runners up in VC Reserve Grand Final. His impact on those boys was immense, improving their basketball skills but also developing them as young men.
What people may not know about Robbo is that he is one of only seventeen life members of Basketball Tasmania, playing a leading role developing basketball in the state. Robbo was also integral in the development of their high performance program.
We wish Peter well for the journey back home, he will be missed at the Shark Tank and we thank him for his service to the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association.
Fins Up Robbo!
